Public Relationship/Marketing

"The Public Relationship/Marketing committee shall work closely with the Membership and Programming Committee within UIAAAN, and externally be the primary liaison of all campuses of the University of Illinois. Look for opportunities to bridging Asian/ Asian American alumni community, students and friends.

The Director of Public Relationship/Marketing shall assist the President, develop and implement overall strategic public relations program. Programs may often include media relations, community relations, internal communication and member relations. At the President’s request, the Director of Public Relationship/Marketing shall write an annual report.

The Director’s detail responsibility includes the following: Serving as the key organizer and spokesperson for all media interface, and collaborate with relevant board of directors to manage public relations via newsletters, social media, or other publications; preparing an annual marketing plan and budget that is realistic and represents institutional objective and identify marketing opportunities; assisting the graphic design and communication intern and oversee the development, design, creation and dissemination of all collateral material."
