Meet the Mentors

Victor Chavalit (UIUC, 2013, Engineering) majored in Computer Engineering and is from Glen Ellyn. He works for Deloitte & Touche LLP in their advisory department in the area of security & privacy.

Sue Feng (UIUC, 2012, Fine and Applied Arts) majored in Industrial Design and is from Peoria, IL. She is an HTML Developer and creates web pages and sites as well as newsletters. She works at Wolfram Research in Champaign.

Simon Huynh (UIUC, 2013, Engineering) majored in Electrical Engineering and is from Chicago. He is a software engineer at a telephone company.

Danny Kim (UIUC, 2005, Media) majored in Advertising and is from Chicago. He is a seasoned account executive and supervisor and has managed key accounts R.J. Reynolds, Overstock, S.C. Johnson and Kellogg’s.

Kwanwoo Lee (UIUC, 2009, Engineering) majored in Electrical Engineering and is from Medina. He used to work in technology consulting, but went through a career change into patent law. Currently he is a patent agent and attends law school part-time.

Sharon Lee (UIUC, 2010, Education) earned her PhD in Educational Policy Studies and is from Cleveland, OH. She has worked in higher education administration since 1997 and is currently the Registered Organization Program Advisor for the Illini Union.

Sammy Park (UIUC, 2013, LAS) majored in Psychology and is from Crystal Lake. He plans to attend law school.

Suey Park (UIUC, 2012, LAS) majored in Psychology and is from Lake Zurich. She is pursuing her graduate work in Student Affairs in Higher Education.

Naveed Shah (UIUC, 2013, Business and LAS) majored in Management, international business and organizational/ cultural communication and is from Glen Ellyn. He is a Management Development Associate at Mondelez International.

Ho Chie Tsai (UIUC, 1994, Engineering) majored in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is from Downers Grove. He is a pediatrician in San Francisco with a focus on Urgent Care/ Hospitalist work.

Ning Zulauf (UIUC, 2010, Business) earned her Master's degree in Technology management and is from Taipei. She works in the Advancement office for the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Illinois and is president of UIAAAN.
